Milan Environmental Contractors, LLC is an industry leader in West Tennessee for site preparation, precision grading, mass excavation and aggregate transport. We are a locally owned business headquartered in Milan, Tennessee.

Josh Laster, founding partner and President, has always had a passion for excavation and operating heavy equipment. At a very young age, Josh started out doing odd jobs for friends and neighbors on their farms. He worked very hard to learn and develop his trade. This grew into performing remediation of contaminated soil, pipe work and much more. His keen eye and attention to detail quickly got him recognized among his peers and customers.

In 2016, Josh ventured out with a small group of local investors to create Milan Environmental Contractors, LLC offering demolition, site development, storm drainage and mass excavation work. Josh quickly built an environment of great teamwork with dependable and trustworthy employees that focus on keeping safety the #1 priority followed by quality outcomes for every project. It's the determination and work ethics that have built their ever-expanding and profitable business. The company continues to expand its service offerings by adding disaster response work at the local, state and federal level and highway work with TDOT.
